How to prepare to audition for Hadestown (advice from the director):

Show your personality by preparing a 1 minute to 90 seconds selection of a song of your choice. The song should not be from Hadestown but should fit the tone. Does not need to be from a musical.

Suggested styles:

Folk Country/ Bluegrass (do not bring a Classical Musical song).

Modern Musicals (later than 2010) that fit the vibe, if a radio song is not chosen.
